LATEST WORK
Our second home - summer camp 2018
In 2017, I began my role as Marketing and Communications lead for a new non-profit aiming to support young refugees and asylum seekers in the UK.
In August 2018, Our Second Home hosted a 5 day summer camp.. The aim of the camp was to create a safe, fun and friendly community for these young people who have found themselves in a foreign and unfamiliar country, most of whom are without their families.
This is the promotional video I filmed and edited to highlight some of the amazing work that has gone into the past year and our hopes for the future of the organisation.
The Future of The Holocaust -
00:00The Future of the Holocaust

This fifteen minute radio documentary explores the Holocaust and how the memory of the holocaust will be preserved once there are no survivors left to testify against the Nazis.
I travelled to Poland where I visited a number of Concentration and Death camps and spoke to various survivors as they showed us where they were held captive.
The Stigma
Surrounding Mental Health

This five minute documentary was produced as part of my final dissertaion project. It explores the stigma and discrimination surrounding mental illness, where it evolves from and how it affects those suffering from a mental health issue.
The documentary recieved a high first class mark and was also nominated for a Royal Television Society Regional Student Television Award in the category of Best Documentary.
AmplifieD

Amplified was a Leeds Student Television Station's bi-weekly music show. As Head of Culture and Music, I had to produce a programme every week ranging between ten and twenty minutes in length.
I edited and produced this ten minute programme and it was nominated for Best Music Show at the National Student Television Awards 2014.
I also feature in front of the camera interviewing artists and presenting the Leeds Festival feature.
